I just wanted to post this...
if you are interested, I suggest that you go with a different agent. Kathy Cowden (the listing agent) is scum and does not deserve to walk this earth. DO NOT GIVE THIS WOMAN HER FULL COMMISSION!!!! Not even a month after my father died, she approached both my sister and I separately asking we wanted to sell our house because he had died. Totally disrespectful.

My mom and I check out houses all the time...we had already come across this one and thought it seemed like a good deal. We were thinking of going to see it. FI and I aren't seriously ready to buy yet....just trying to get a feel...That house had definately perked our interest though

The area is great, I grew up on that block. You are in the Plainedge SD - expensive, but one of the best. There are a lot of children in the area and you have huge park right in back of the house that is maintained by the town.
The house does need work... it is an estate sale, the old widow that owned it recently passed away (not in the house).

They were crazy even before they built that JH. And believe it or not, that is kind of low for the area and district. 
Make no mistake, that house needs more than just siding. I believe my neighbors were the original owners from the 1950's.

The inside pictures arent bad but you can tell the kitchen and bathroom would need to be redone...amongst other things.
