crinoline help
how do I know how full to get the slip?? The dress doesn't have anything in it. In the picture with me in the dress I was wearing the store's slip, but it wasn't that big.

Re: crinoline help
i think it depends on your tastes, but the first slip seems to be full enough.

Re: crinoline help
Keep in mind that the weight of the satin on your gown will also weigh down the tulle.....

Re: crinoline help
Definitely just depends on the look you're going for. They have slips for a-lines and types of dresses but you can use whatever you like.

Re: crinoline help
It all depends on how full you want the dress to be. There's no right or wrong. One salon I went to had a bride that bought two crinolines because she said she wanted it so big it wouldn't fit through door ways. My salon is telling me I don't need one at all because the dress is so big already.

Re: crinoline help
When you go to the salon where you bought your dress ask them if they have slips you can try on - mine did - and that was how i decided which size 'poofyness' i wanted
