Do you keep flowers on your table?
when i was at shoprite the other day, i bought daisies for 4$ and i am loving how pretty they look! i feel like a grown up!

I wish I could have fresh flowers in the house, but apparently flowers are quite the delicacy to my cats.
For our first V-day together, my FI bought me a dozen roses and then took me out to dinner. When we got back, there were a dozen STEMS and a few coughed up petals left around the apartment.....
No more flowers for me...

I have this problem too- for some reason one of my cats prefers flowers to food. The potential for mess and spillage is huge.
The first few years I was on my own money was so tight but I remember how happy I felt when I realized that I could get inexpensive fresh flowers from the little shop up the block. It made such a difference.

When I came back from Vegas, DH had balloons and flowers waiting for me but sadly, some of them died and now there are only 3 flowers left but I LOVE having flowers in the house, it makes it feel cozy!

i don't keep any flowers / plants in the house. if i do it's extremely rare. they just die on me in an instant. i hate seeing them die. it kinda hurts me.. ya know?

I usually have flowers on my server. The dining room table is too much of a high traffic area for a vase of flowers.
Either our mothers bring them from their gardens or we buy them in the supermarket or BJ's.
