Who are you designating to pay your vendors the day of?
I certainly don't want to be responsible for that. Or should I? I was thinking of asking my FFIL.

I'm trying to pay everything prior to the wedding day if at all possible. Anything that needs taking care of that day will probably be my dad.

Thank God all my vendors are paid already, but as far as tips, the BM will have the envelopes.
That's great that you paid all your vendors. I wish we could do that too, but most of them want their money the day of. I wonder why..

We're going to hand envelopes over to either FSIL or one of our designated friends. For tip, we're going to give two separate envelopes per vendor. If she thinks the vendor did a great job, she'll give the envelope with more money. If the vendor was disappointing in any way, she'll give the second envelope with the smaller tip.

I was thinking of asking my brother in law. I'm sure he'll be super excited about that duty. But I think he will be a little more responsible than the BM.

I hope to pay all vendors before then with the final amount, except of course the hall (which depends on how many people show that day). My dad will have to pay that one. But my MOH offered to hand the tip over to the maitre de so that we don't have to worry about it.

I think traditionally you ask the best man to do it. Or actually it would be your FI asking him.  I know when my FI was best man for his bro he did it. We're gonna put the $$ in clearly marked envelopes for each vendor and at the end of the night (important!!) his best man will hand them out.
