If this is possible, get a lot of sleep. I'm sure the adrenaline will get you through the day so I wouldn't worry so much. Added stress will just keep you from getting better. It will work out.

I wish I could but my family from Greece arrives tomorrow and it will be nonstop from there on!

Tylenol cold sore throat works wonders for me. Honey lemon flavor is the most soothing. Mint is a bit too icy.

Drink lots of OJ and hot tea with honey or lemon. Chicken Soup also works for sore throats!!! At night take Nyquil and that should take care of the cold. If nothing else it'll knock you out so you can get some sleep. Hope you feel better!!!!!!!!

Zycam is a spray that you spray in your mouth (cheeks, back of tounge, throat) and it cuts a cold in half the time ...
I'd suggest going to your doctor ASAP. I also was sick the week of my wedding and they prescribed Allegra and I felt a lot better.

Taking Zinc is good for colds too. You can get it in a lozenge or in vitamin form. You have 5 days before Friday, your cold should be better by then. And definitely sleep as much as possible!!

Goldenseal and Ecchinechia Fingerprinted Version (sp?) I buy mine from GNC. When ever I feel like I'm coming down with something, I take 2 pills with a full glass of water and it amazingly knocks it out of me.

I had the same thing the week of my wedding. It was from stress. I took tylenol cold, cough and sinus and got lots of sleep.

Zithromax- Z pack. Some come with three pills some with 5. It is an antibiotic and knocks out every sore throat I have ever had. Just be careful with alcohol and birth control - double up if you don't wanna get prego.

Feel Better.. !!! try to get as much rest as possible, vitamin C, Cold ease, hot tea. i always take advil or tylenol for a sore throat it usually helps with the pain

NO! Don't take an antibiotic! A cold is a virus - an antibiotic will NOT kill a virus!! The only thing it will do is make the bacteria more resistant so the next time you take it, it won't work as well. The only time you should take an antibiotic is when you have a proven bacterial infection (i.e. a positive strep culture!!!!)
