Stretch Marks
Can you have them if you've never been preggo or over-weight?
What causes them? How can you get rid of them?

yep...my 16 year old niece has them...and she's like a size 2  ...guess from her growth, and being tall 5'7"....its genetics
eta: if there were a way to get rid of them, I'd be the first in line!!

Well I believe it's a genetic thing although I didn't develop them on my belly, I did in other places.
You can use creams that diminish them but it won't take them away.
It also has to do if you have gain weight and lost it, you can also get them like that.

I think they can come from losing weight very quickly (not just gaining) and growing taller. DH has them on his shoulders and tops of his thighs from his growth spurt when his limbs got longer.

To reduce stretch marks during her pregnancy, my best friend used cocoa butter on her tummy everyday - and she swears by it. Plus, it smells really yummy 
When I was in high school, I pretty much lost all of my baby fat and I now have small stretch marks on my upper thighs too. I don't really notice them though. maybe those cellulite reduction creams might work??

I got them on my hips and boobs during puberty. They never went a way but definitely faded so that I only know they are there! Vitamin E for me was great with them!

to help reduce streching...you need specfic types of lotions.... the skins streches but doesn't want to, casueing the mark.
keeping the skin moist will allow it to expand better resulting in less marks

Yes, I developed some when I was around 12-13. I grew 6 inches in less than a year. I have some on the back of my calves, and my lower back

This may be TMI, but I got them on my boobs. From the age of 15 or so. They're like tiger stripes. My grandmother thinks they're cool.

I got the stretch marks after having my daughter on my arms and on my hips from the weight gain. Use cocoa butter. It helps a lot!
