I dont know because mine will be a surprise, but I told my girls that I'd like to go to the hamptons and dont want strippers! my sister is my MOH and she's nuts and so are FH's sisters who are also in the BP...they're really pushing for those strippers is what another BM told me! UH OH!!!

I went to eat at Lucky Changs on 1st St in NYC last weekend and there were a ton of Bachelorette parties there. It seemed like a good time. Pricey menu but really fun atmosphere.
My bachelorette party was at Donkey Show. It was ok & then we went out afterwards in LI so we could be closer to home since we drove in.

At 2pm we are going on the sex and the city tour which is three hours. After that we are going to dinner at pasta lovers and the we are going to see the time square hunks at the show night club (strippers). I am so excited I can't wait

me too mine is a surprise also...NO STRIPPERS...hopefully these girls listen my sister is also my MOH and a nut..im scared..i dont want sweaty gay men jumping all over me!

Well, not sure if you read about my bad experience in the 05 board... well, that was plan A. I want to stay close to home so we don't need limos, so we will prolly go to Cactus in East Islip - the manager was very excited to work with my "large" group of 8-10 girls. I should hear back from her today.

Was in a bridal party that did this...was amazing!!!! have fun! We are doing exactly what I want...bar hopping downtown DC and Georgetown in all my own haunts....they may be making a game of it associating different places with different guys from the past

I told my family I really dont want a bachelorette party. I don't want the sex toys/ strippers type of thing - I am trying to plan a spa day of some sort for my bridal party and other family/friends a day or two before the wedding but i'm trying to keep it as a suprise for them!! I have found out that against my wishes my NANA!!!! really wants strippers and she my mom and MOH (twin sister) are trying to arrange something like this even though I clearly expressed i do not want this!!! We'll see what happens 
P.S. if anyone has information on spas in long island and packages/prices or experiences i'd love an FM!! Thank you!!

I def DON'T want strippers!! I'd love to just go to a Yankees game (hopefully they'll win). Maybe have a tailgate party outside the stadium beforehand. Just something different that we'd all enjoy!! Either that or dinner and a funny b'way show.

I'm thinking possibly going to dinner, see a Play, then hit a lounge.....but I think I'm going to try and take one out.....I feel its gonna be quite expensive for everyone, so 2 of the 3 is enough.....I guess I'll take out the play

mines a surprise too
FSIL had CRAZY strippers and they were all over eachother..everyone was ( i wasnt around then) but my sister KNOWS none of that crazy stuff and she is MOH....my sister will throw a good one..i knwo it.....but i know FSIL is hounding me about how the party will suck w/o strippers...oh well
she can have them...but they are NOT to touch me and be all over me...like hers UGH!!

I don't know what my friends will plan forme but they know I don't need or want strippers. IMO it has been done so many times and bores me. We are more likely to do something like Foxwoods or a spa. All of us are working women - some have kids and would LOVE to get away from them. At my age, if you've seen one stripper, you've seen em all.
Two of my bridesmaids are teenagers (my neices)so we may have to do something local in addition as to not leave them out.

This is what FH is doing with his brother. I wish I could go too. I think it would be fun if a group of us went out to the game and then out afterwards. I don't think it's totally necessary to separate the parties. Of course, there's nothing wrong with a girls/guys night out. I just dont' want my friends to expect they have to pay....that's not me. A drink is fine enough
