I had my shower! Updated with pictures
So I just went to SC for a few days to see my family. While I was down there, my sister (my MOH), mom, aunt and grandmother threw me a surprise shower! My mom isn't going to be able to come to NY for my "big" shower, whenever that is, so they decided to surprise me when I was there.
It was precious! They worked so hard. My sister decorated everything in pink and green, which I love. THey had a little chair for me with "and they lived happily ever" on the back. My sister really thought ahead and bought a disposible camera. I am just waiting for the prints and I will post pictures.
The nicest part of this is that my aunt is really suffering with liver problems. She is on chemo and a variety of antidepressants, but she was there  She knitted me a beautiful throw for our couch. I was so happy that she was there and in good spirits.
I just wanted to share, and say, I'm back! I missed you ladies!

I was TOTALLY surprised -- which unfortnuately meant that I looked "underwhlemed" according to my sister.
It was so sweet! I must have said thank you a million times. they have been planning this since Christmas! I can't wait until I have pictures to post!

 Awww....that's soooo sweet. Sounds like you had a good time with your family and that's especially nice that your aunt made you the throw. That's extra special. Glad you had a good time. Can't wait to see pictures

Here are some of the pictures. I am white as a ghost in them!
My mom bought the dishes before I registered, but she also got me coordinating placemats, napkins and a table cloth.
My aunt crocheted this throw for my living room.
My grandmother knitted this quilt for me.
