So pissed. My fsil is now inviting 3 of her friends to the wedding, that I don;t even know while I have to keep my list to a minimum.
Granted our parents are footing the bill I just feel that this is not the time or place for her friends, even my 16 year brother is not bringing a friend along, btw she is 26..

Just tell her NO. And if there's a problem with that, then have your parents talk to her. Plus which, you're not sending them invitations, so they're not really invited.

I mean her parents are paying too but she is my maid of honor ( who has not planned a bachleorette party for me yet) it makes me pissed. Also she asked me if she could bring her dog, to walk down the aisle. Sure I plan for all these months and put effort into this so you could ruin it?? Just venting..

She is being so out of line.
Also, as your MOH she shouldn't have the time that day to party with 3 of her friends. Her first priority is to you.
We didn't even invite the BM with a date because he is a musician and has a diffeerent girl on his arm every weekend. I told FH to tell him his first priority thatt day is to him not the "flavor of the week".

Do her parents think this is OK? Honestly, I don't know if you can put your foot down about it if they are paying for half and think it is OK for her to bring them. I agree, it isn't right, and I chose to pay for my own so no one else would have a say, but paying half does to some extent entitle them to choose who is in their half... JMO. Good luck! I would ask her to please limit it to 1 friend.

What is it about weddings that everyone just turns into complete nuts?? IMO it is not her wedding-no she can not invite whoever she would like to your wedding!! I would talk to her-best of luck!

I am fine with her BF being invited but 2 of her GF is not acceptable its just that her parents are paying too so I can't give her a complete "no".

Yes you can. She is not paying and was not asked for input for the guest list, so she doesn't decide who comes and who doesn't, you and FH do.

I personally wouldn't invite someone unless I wanted them there. I will admit that I am inviting my sister's BF....but she has been also become my friend through the years. But I wouldn't invite any old friend of my sister's she can have them at her own damm wedding

OMG - Is she joking! It's a sticky situation, because her parents are helping to foot the bill. You might be able to talk to her and your future in-laws and tell them that you are having a hard time narrowing down your guest list - you have no problem for 1 friend, but you are being forced to cut out other people that are closer to you (the bride!!!) becasue of the additional invites. You could also mention that the additional friends are more than welcome to attend the ceremony.
