Anyone know anything about health insurance?
I have been on healthy NY, but I was wondering if there are other alternatives for health insurance. The rates for healthy ny just skyrocketted. It's only until FH and I get married...so I was even considering medicaid. I don't know what's involved...I don't get benefits from my job.

You have to make under a certain amount for medicaid and being single assuming you have no dependents will probably be a REALLY low amount.

Is it at all posibe for Fh to add you as a domestic partner?
Also ask your school, I know some schools have specials on health insurance, esp[ecially the CUNY system

Yeah, I just checked on the web site, I do not qualify. The next thing I am going to do is see if I can change carriers on healthy ny. I just can not see spending so much money. I am going to have to look for other means of employment too.

You should try school- I got health insurance through grad school. I think it was 800 for the year.
