Wording for hotel info on Save the Dates

Hi -

Does anyone have an example of how to include hotel room block information on my Save the Dates? I am doing a postcard-style Save the Date, so I just wanted to include the names of the hotels (2 of them), addresses, phone, etc.

Was wondering if anyone has a template or an example of how to best "present" this - I don't have a lot of space to work with on the back of the postcard.

You could create a wedding web site, on WeddingChannel.com for example and put all the hotel information there. On your STD, you could just write one line directing people to the web site for all your wedding related info such as hotel info and directions. That way you don't have to take up too much space.

I included a piece of paper given to me by the hotel to include with my STDs, so that I wouldn't have to clutter the card with hotel info.

I didn't put anything on the std about the hotel info. I will be including a separate note when I send the STD that tells about the hotels.

FI & I did a letter for STD & explained how we blocked off rooms & that we would be providing shuttle service as well as brunch the next day.

DO you have a copy of the letter you sent as your STD??? I like this idea and it saves some $$

My FH made it--it was something that I gave him to do but I don't have it on my computer--I will try & get it from him but basically it was like one of those christmas letters that tells our guests what we have been up to & major things going on with us--then has a paragraph all about our wedding and how we have blocked rooms at the Hyatt Windwatch & their number. We also told them the date & time of the wedding of course & how we are providing a shuttle to & from the hotel for those staying & are also planning a brunch so please make your reservations soon. That was the basic letter. FI & i are going away tomorrow so if I remmeber I will try & get the copy--Hope this helps--it really only cost me the paper, envelopes, labels & stamps maybe $50 bucks tops---really cheap & easy & it makes people read it!!!

Included in the save the dates we put the cards that the hotel gave us telling about the block of rooms.

We did a postcard too. It was 3x5. We have a wedding website... www.theknot.com/ourwedding/annmarieruvolo&gregschneider we have all of the hotel info posted there. So on the back of the card it said, "For more information including hotel info please visit our website"....

My hotel gave me cards to put in the envelope with the STDs and it said something like for your convenience and comfort, we have blocked rooms..... You could write something like that and then provide them with the info of the hotel.
