My sister's wedding was yesterday! Mini-review and link to pics!
Ok, I totally just typed this all out and it logged me out during it, so this is the quickie version! First, pics! pictures!
My sister's wedding was at Westbury Manor, and I have to say, everything was FANTASTIC. There were no unexpected problems and the day went so smoothly that it was almost odd! haha. Her bridal attendant, Lupita, was AWESOME. Kept all of our drinks full and took care of my sister all day.
Limos: Not so impressed with the company she picked. I'm a little nervous because I am using them too. The limos were dirty and the drivers didn't really knwo where they were going.
Photographer: She was from Angelica Studios. I think her name was Jodi. My sister loved her and she got all of the pictures done quickly. I'll let you know how they come out.
Video: Ray from Timeless Treasures was my sister's videographer, and I have to say, we all agreed he went above and beyond his call of duty! He survived a couple of hours in my house alone with a bunch of females trying to stuff his face, so that alone gets him points! He even ran around filming my sister as she CHASED A peacock in the gardens at Westbury Manor! JT and I are using him too, and we are so happy that found him!
Flowers: LA Blossom did my sister's flowers. I had suggested to my sister that she used Laurie, and my sister loved her just as much as I do when they met together. I always knew that Laurie was good at what she does, but it wasn't until yesterday that I really saw what it's like when all of her hard work gets pulled together. Anyone who is using her is lucky to have her!!!!! She's an awesome person and an awesome florist!
DJ: Top Hat Entertainment, I think! My sister was very pleased with the DJ and people danced ALL night. The only odd thing was that they added on one of those live drummers that my sister and her DH totally did not ask for. I guess they thought they were being nice, but this guy wasn't really strong in the rhythm area! Maybe it's just hte music teacher in me, but I think it would have been better without it.
OK, I'm going to leave it at that because I'll talk forever about it. We had a great time and my sister and her DH really took their time and enjoyed every ounce of their day. They ate all the food, talked to all guests and danced as much as possible and in the end they were so happy that there was a balance. So, next up it's MY TURN! Yippeee!

LOL, my sister is also very thin, so I understand.
And I found it hilarious that the DJ company would send a percussionist with no rhythim. Maybe they're training him?  Glad sis didn't notice.

Your sister's wedding looked great! I am using Jodi from Angelica Studios too...so glad to hear you had good experience with her.
Also, I think I met your mom. I was at The Main Event in Sayville a couple of months ago and there was a woman there who had 2 daughters getting married with one at Bourne on 7/3/05 (you?). I remember b/c I looked at Bourne and wanted that date!! Sounds like it could have been her???

rach, the lady who was taking pictures at the church was very rude to me the video guy even made a face. she said are you going to take the picture or get out of my way really nasty and then went infront of the camera so most of the picts outside was with the woman standing in front. all i wanted was just one clear picture of sarah and chris. i said to my mil if i were a bride i would not go with her based upon my first impression but im not a bride anymore just a fyi to you ladies.
