Met with the Pre-canna couples last night

My second night of pre-canna and we went to the host couples house. It really wasn't bad at all, I enjoyed it. We happen to have a very vocal group of couples so it was actually amusing. We spoke about communication, who will be handling the finances, and arguing. I gotta say the time went really fast. I really feel that it is a good program because they touched on subjects that me and my FH don't really talk because we never thought of it. They really are a lot of things that come along with being married. It is not just about the love you share, buying a house, having children and preparing for your future. It is also very interesting to hear how the other couples deal with certain issues, it gave me some good insight on how to handle similiar circumstances in my relationship. For anyone that hasn't gone yet this is my advice to you. Go with an open mind and take everything in. You really can get a lot out of it. I am so relieved, I thought it was going to just be a waste of time just fulfilling an obligation to get married.
