The Jeans from my college days . . . and post your motivating stories!
I really don't expect anyone that reads this to be very excited, but I'm so excited that I just have to write it out!!!
Well, one of the most motivating things that had started my desire to get in great shape was when I was cleaning out my closet and came across my favorite pair of jeans from college. Even though I'm now 27, I figured I would try on the jeans I wore at 18 . . . (OK, almost 10 years - I really really feel OLD)!
Suffice to say, it was NOT a good experience. I swear, I could NOT pull the jeans up over my knees! The only part of me fitting into those little legs was my calves... I mean, there was NO chance whatsoever that those things were goin up my thighs, let alone over my hips. It was really depressing. I mean, I understand I can't look 18 forever, but I'm only in my late 20s, and they weren't even CLOSE to fitting!
Anyway, after I started working out and lifting weights, the little jeans started going further and further up every time I tried them on.
As of last week, I can now say althought I can't button them yet, THEY GO ALL THE WAY ON!!!!!!!!!!!
And as of this week, I can ALMOST BUTTON THEM! I think within another couple of weeks, I will be able to zip and button my jeans from when I was 18! I'm really really really excited! I can't wait to wear them out, I really can't!
 Alright girls, if anyone else has a motivating success story, feel free to post it here - maybe it will keep others going!

It's good because the scale wasn't moving much, but the inches were goin . . . It's like proof that I wasn't measuring myself incorrectly or something.

OK! When I finally get them buttoned and they fit well, I will totally take a picture of them on and post it!
I am thinking maybe two or three weeks, tops... well, I'm hoping. Of course I'm going to try every other day in case it happens faster. . . .

That is such a great story. For some reason, jeans are the greatest motivatior. Congrats! They will fit perfectly in no time- once you start losing, it seems to come off easier and easier.
I just dropped 13 pounds since Jan and I am short- so those 13 pounds really did some damage. I didn't know how much until I starting putting on my jeans.
I put on one pair that was so tight that I couldn't button them and they were actually baggy. That started a jean's fashion show for my FH. I tried on every pair I had and some were the "you wish you could still fit in these jeans". It was so much fun. I totally understand your excitment!

Congratulations....... I'm using a pair of old jeans too. I have a pic of me wearing them when I was <ahem> fluffier and they were pretty snug, and when I started WW they wouldn't even FIT. Now- they are LOOSE.
Keep using those old pair of jeans.... that was my motivator!
