Boy - They got me good yesterday!!!
Yeah!!!  Yesterday was my surprise shower and it was so much fun!!!! All of my family was there and my friends - even my best friend from Canada drove down after work Thrusday night, went to NYC on Friday, drove out to LI on the LIE at 5pm  went to the outlets Saturday morning... then to my shower in the afternoon. My FMIL invited her and her friend over for Passover dinner and just had an awesome time. I screamed and jump and cried when I saw - it was the best gift I got all day. 
We had it at a chinese buffet, but it was very nice and everyone had fun. I'm working on my pics and will post some up shortly. I'm so glad it's over, but it went way too fast :fast:
AND!!!! I'm done writing my thank you cards I wanted to do it while the day was still fresh in my mind and wrote (IMO) very nice and personal cards.

Secondly, I am laughing because we are wedding date twins and I also had my shower yesterday!!  (I'll post more details later in the week).

 Well, I had to organize all of the stuff between the two houses, so I figured I would take advantage of that, go thru it all, make sure the notes match the gift and card and one by one, I wrote my cards!  It's a relief to know that they are done - cause in less then 2 months, I have to do almost 3 times as many more and my hand is gonna be hurting then!!!
Besides, the day was really fresh in my mind and made the cards more personalized.
Oh yea, and the thank you card debate was also in my mind and I didn't want to be the girl in our group who never got her TY cards out on time or done nicely
