Went to the Swan Club for a tasting today
YUMMMMM!!!!!!!!!! the food there is phenomenal!
and the grounds look amazing! they must have 30,000 tulips scattered all over their property. Just gorgeous!

FH and I went for our tasting three weeks ago and the food was very good. Did you notice they have a silver and platinum menu selection. I forget for a wedding do we choose from the silver or platinum?

FH and I went for our tasting three weeks ago and the food was very good. Did you notice they have a silver and platinum menu selection. I forget for a wedding do we choose from the silver or platinum?
I know that they have three packages to chose from when you are doing your contract. Silver, Gold and Platinum. I went to a food tasting also a few weeks ago it was very good. (that was my second time )

I didn't notice a silver or plat. menu. the only 2 menus I saw were the "tasting menu" and a regular priced menu for people who just go there for lunch. They had a whole stack of both menus on the bar.

 I wish I could go more than one tasting. I am actually referring to the catering menu. This is the packet they give you when you go and sign the contract. I have to talk to call BM and figure out which one I should be choosing from since I have both a silver and platinum in my folder I'm confused

hmm, I think ours is the silver package. you should call them tomorrow and ask which one is on your contract... unless you have a copy of it somewhere?

Yeah I am going to have to call him. When you went for a tasting did you have the filet mignon or the seafood platter. I wish those were the choices we have for our menus as they were so good! FH and I loved it.. Although I guess the filet mignon medallions may be almost the same thing

we took both our mothers with us and this is what we had. I had the salmon (BEST salmon I ever had!), FH had the filet mignon, and both our moms had the Rosemary chicken. we all loved the food!
The filet medallions will probably taste a little different, but we're still choosing that as the beef option for our menu.

well, I am such a pain in the a$$ b/c of all the questions I ask while I am there, they will remember me!
By the way, I have to add something about the wedding cake. I voiced my concern over the appearance of their cakes and the BM showed me an album with pictures of 4 or 5 cakes that they have done. One of which is exactly what I want. He admitted that sometimes brides bring in pics of these fancy elaborate cakes that they can't duplicate. But for what I want, theirs is just fine

yup! you were right!!
we met with Mike, the guy who we signed the contract with. We spoke with Rob as well. he showed us the bridal suites. they're ok, nothing spectacular... but defnitely nice.

Rob i believe is one of the owners!!! I saw the bridal suite and you are right they are nice but nothing spectacular - but you wont be in there for long anyway!!!

yes, there are 3. That's what Mike told me last month. The one he showed us has a door that opens up into the next suite (for a very large bridal party).
there's only 1 bathroom up there though. oh well, it's not a "1 wedding at a time" place. I'm over it.
