Between Contract & Closing

Hi
We are in contract and scheduled to close May 26th. I feel like I dont have a firm grasp as to what I should be doing so far.

I have:
-completed all mortgage papers
-started to look into homeowners insurance
-house has been appraised

What should I be doing????? Do I need to set up a new oil service contract for as soon as we move in, etc?

Yes also call LIPA and Suffolk or Nassau Water Authority to set up accounts for the day you take possesion.

As far as homeowners we got the best rate from state farm.

I would take time to really look into homeowners insurance. We got a better rate from MetLife- $200 less per year than any other company and better coverage.
