NWR OMG I MET
CHRISTIAN SLATER!!!!!
I chaporoned a field trip to see the glass menagerie on braodway today and christian slater played Tom. Josh Lucas (sweet home alabama (OMG HOT)) played the jim o conner and jessica lang played the mother.
ANYYYWAYYYY as we are leaving we (the 4 teachers) were talking to the manager of the theater and he is like listen.. go wait by the black door outside the theatre. So we go out there and a HUGE limo pulls up and a cop goes inside and gets a metal divider to keep the people back... so he went back inside to get the one for the other side of the crowd and out comes CHRISTIAN SLATER with the other divider helping the cop.. OMG I ALMOST DIEDDD my students think I am a 13 year old but I dont care. he was sooo nice and signed autographs and stuff (YES I GOT ONE).
We also saw Ashley simpson at the TRL studios when leaving planet hollywood.
WHAT A STAR STUDDED DAY.
It was INSANE getting 46 kids on a rush our train in manhattan, but the day rocked and was soooooo awesome

WOW!!
Being a high school teacher I know how nerve racking it is to conduct field trips... I don't do it anymore.
So glad the teachers got a "little excitement" out of the day!

nope the manager even said "yep and recently single" when we were talking about how hot he is
LOL>. oh yea.. and the play ROCKED. jessica lang was AMAZING. THey threw in kind of an incestual thing for a minute between the sister and brother but the kids didnt really pick up on it. Its just such a good play... everything is symbolic LOL

I met him a few years back when I worked in Soho, he was buying furniture with his then pregnant wife (they're now divorcing) and I was struck by how gorgeous he was in person. Short yes, but he was so cute...totally unexpected.

he looked good... I will post pic later when i pick them up, but he was playing a very "avaerage guy" kind of role so he wasnt all glammed up or anything
