Thank you all for your good wishes, but...
Unfortunately when I went for the ultrasound this morning there was only one baby. The twin "disappeared", which may be the reason I haven't stopped spotting. The remaining baby has a slow heartbeat - only about 120 - so the Dr. is concerned I may miscarry, although everything looks fine otherwise. He said something about seeing the yolk, which is supposed to be a good thing.
So it's back to bed with me for another week, until I get an ultrasound next Wed. He says that if we make it through the next week, and everything looks OK, then most likely there will be no problems at all.
I wasn't surprised that I lost one of the babies since it was so early, and 1 out of every 4 preganancies actually starts as a multiple but only 1 out of 90 come to term as twins, but now I am so scared I will lose the other too.
Please keep Baby Peeps and me in your prayers - thanks. (P- my husband's last name - went from Baby P to Baby Peeps to Baby Peep).

It seems like you are taking all of this in stride, which is one of the best things you can do for Baby Peep (so cute!!)

Im so sorry, I heard similiar things, my 1st PG, they thought I had twins because my levels were too high for one, and I spotted a LOT and by the time my 1st sonogram came, they said there was one, but couldnt rule out that there hadnt been two.
Im very sorry for the stress your under. Relax, take care of your self...and lots of STICKY power to that little one!
