Question for Catholic Brides
Can anyone recommend a church in Nassau County that allows marriages when neither the bride or groom belong to the parish?
My FH and I both live in NJ but are getting married on LI. I'm not really thrilled with the church my parents below to.
Thanks!

Re: Question for Catholic Brides
You can try St. William the Abbot in Seaford--I think they will marry two people from another parish. 516-785-1266. Let me know if they do!

Re: Question for Catholic Brides
yes father steve is awesome. Father Bill is really good also. I made my communion at st. william and My confirmation at Maria Regina. Maria Regina is technically my parish and my FH parish is in W. Babylon. Father Bill is marrying us, no problem. I am sure they will do it.

Re: Question for Catholic Brides
We got married at St. Thomas the Apostle in West Hempstead with no problems. I'm not even Catholic It's a beautiful church and the longest aisle in the diocese.

Re: Question for Catholic Brides
I agree about St. Thomas in W. Hempstead. They were really nice to us and the church is pretty also with a loooong aisle. I met with deacon Johnson.
