NWR - Real Estate Lawyer

Hi, girls! My fiance and I need to hire a real estate lawyer because we are selling his place, but we're not sure whether the quotes we have been getting are reasonable or not. We got a quote for $825 from a lawyer who doesn't get involved until after the contract is signed, and then she'll take care of the rest, including the closing. Is this reasonable? Does it make sense for a lawyer not to get involved until after the contract is signed?

Thank you!

If she is not going to get involved until after the contract is signed then who is going to read it on your behalf to make sure that everything is copasectic??

Re: NWR - Real Estate Lawyer

I've got a great atty in Hauppague. FM me for info. Also you definitely don't want to be a bargain hunter when it comes to attorneys. The less they charge the less they are involved. The atty should definitely look at the contract and make changes if necessary.
