Cheapest place to buy or rent chocolate fountain
I saw some on ebay for around 125.00 is that the norm price they go for?

chocolate fountains are usually much more expensive. i'd say at least 500+. the cheapest that i've seen outside chocolate fountain rentals is www.xttras.com. for 600 dollars you get the fountain, six dipping items, and an attendant.

do you want to actually purchase a chocolate fountain? for 125 dollars, it sounds like the fountain is probably small (not wedding size). then you would have to buy the chocolate, skewers, and dipping items. also, i would recommend getting an attendant to prevent double dipping and the area from getting messy. one bride said that she went to a wedding where there was no attendant for the chocolate fountain, and it got really messy!

I went to a wedding last weekend with a chocolate fountain. It was my cousins wedding. xttras.com
chocolate fountain rental they had two attendants. It was beautiful and the chocolate was great LOL
