Body Rock DJ--lights or no?
Hi everyone. I recently booked Body Rock for my DJ, but didn't decide about whether I want the lights package (the small ones that stand on the floor). My reception room is small (Oak room in Jericho Terrace), and I don't want anything clubby. I really just want fun and classic. What do you think about using lights? Did anyone use these same lights from Body Rock, and how did you like them? Thanks so much!

I saw them at a showcase and I really liked them. Haven't booked anyone yet but they're def up there on the list. They call it "intelligent lighting" and that's what it is. They seemed to know what they were doing with the lights, that's important to me too. I def don't want it to be like a club!

We didnt have the lights because I felt it would be too much! I think the lights especially in a small space make it feel too clubby

We opted not to do the intel lighting. I think we have two light towers near the door way looking out onto the dance floor but that's it.
Honestly we first made the decision because of money but afterwards when we had the option to add it back on we decided not to. The ceilings in my room are lower and I just wasn't convinced that the intel lighting would work as well as it could.
