LIRR troubles-any info?
My husband is at Penn and their is a fire on the tracks somewhere and there are very few east bound trains...does anyone have any more info. He said Penn is a mob scene.

No but my DH just sent me a msg from his Blackberry that he is stuck too. Hope he will be home for our Sign Language class.

Due to a smoke condition in one of the East River tunnels and a disabled Amtrak train in another East River tunnel, we are experiencing 20-30 minute delays into and out of Penn Station.
That was on the LIRR webpage.
I hope its truly 20-30 minutes though.

My FH just called me and his train was only 5 minutes late. I think it really depends on what area you are going .
