The worst thing about my e-ring
(if there IS such a thing! LOL) is that I have to get a manicure almost EVERY week to keep my nails from looking horrible!! 
Thank God it's only $6 a pop! 
ETA: I am ashamed to say that I cannot paint my own nails (or put on any makeup other than lipstick very well)

Thanks...no way, I LOVE my ring...I never wanted a diamond (I fell in love with the Victoria ring from Tif & Co w aquamarine stone but too $$ and aquamarine is only a 7 on hardness scale, sapphire 9) and the Ceylon blue is SOOO beautiful!!

I never get my nails done anymore... i don't have time. I try to do them but ultimately never do. My ring is complimented by unpolished nails.

Whoa you scared me as well Hey I never get my nails done wither I don't have the time with working then coming home cooking and straightening up the place and taking care of my daughter plus making plans for the wedding and all I really should make time and get them done jsut to get a regular manicure its not like I have tips or anything on which I am gonna get for my wedding if my nails don't grow

yea, i have been biting my nails my whole life and never had any nails, but the moment i got engaged i stopped biting them instantly. it would do my gorgeous ring any justice on ugly nails.

you are all lucky!!! i am stuck in albany where to get your nails done it is 20$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT! i lived on LI my whole life and got cheap manis and pedis...and then come up here!!!! it is 40$ for a mani and pedi up here...and thats a GOOD DEAL!

In my neighborhood (ozone park) the stnadard price is $6 for a manicure and $9 for a french or a regukar with a design on the ring fingers

Wow, I was a lil afraid to read this one, lol. I don't have my nails done, esp now that we're saving for the wedding. So I just try to keep them clean and nicely trimmed. That way all the focus is on my ring, not my nails.

In brooklyn, right around the corner from my house in Park Slope!! Get this ladies...a mani/pedi combo is $11.99!!!! and they actually do a pretty good job.
I don't have tips so it's so much cheaper- the ladies there LOVE to do my nails 'cause it's so quick.
he he he...there are probably a bunch of ladies "afraid" to read this post or thinking I am an ingrate or something
call it a late April Fools!!!

aww really thanks. we had it custom made, but the guy I bought the stone from is great and the prices are good.
I knew I didn't want a diamond, but I almost got one just because it's traditional, but then I went to the Bowery Diamond district and the sapphire blew (no pun intended ) me away.
If you ever want info on precious stones other than diamonds, I would gladly provide his info. I am so happy with it.
