OMG HUGE VENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE PROSCRIPTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to take daily medication for my thyroid condition. Now that I am pregnant it is even more important that it is taken. For two weeks I have been calling them every other day, asking where my medication was because I was running low. (With Proscripts it has to be sent to you, you can just go to the pharmacy and get it) So I called yesterday and said I have 2 pills left. Oh it will be there tomorrow. I come home and NOTHING. I now have one pill left and they are telling me I will have it by Thursday. I said to the man are you freaking kidding me you are telling me to possibly go off of my medication you are not a doctor (not to mention that synthroid is supposed to be taken in the morning and my mail comes VERY late in the day!) He is like that is the best I can do. I told him you are making yourself liable for mine and my baby's health who are you to tell me not to take my medication properly.

If this is what it is going to be like every 3 months dealing with these freaking morons just lock me up now. I have had it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you tell someone you can't have medication that is required for a disease you have

Is it possible for you to go into your dr and get a few trial pills?

ETA- I know that is not the point, however, I am just trying to think of ways for you to NOT go off your meds

i am sorry you are going through this jamie! i would definetely complain to the company what they are doing to you not giving you the medicine on time when you need it is so wrong! that really makes me mad! can you call the upper boss on this person and tell .

I am in limbo now because by the time my mail comes it's so late that as of now my drs office is closed!!! The pharmacy voided out the remaining refills since they said they would not authorize anymore overrides. I HATE PROSCRIPTS. They should not be playing games with people's medication. If I was to break my water tonight to go into the hospital I would have no meds to show them. If this was heart medication, I mean I could be in serious risk! They truly have some nerve!

I want to file a complaint and I don't know where to file it though
