Re: GREAT NEWS
Sounds good!
Questions you've probably thought of (taken from an article on backyard events: Does the tent have sides? Does the price include table linens? Does the company set everything up, or will you do that? When will they company return to pick up the stuff you've rented? Are there enough bathrooms for all your guests? Is there enough parking, will guests need permits? Will you need noise permits?
Good luck!!

Re: GREAT NEWS
Wow that is awsome is that price including food and drinks?
I should of went with my mom's idea and have it in her backyard in PA
I thought it would run about the same maybe a little cheaper but then dealing with the cleaning up or evening hiring someone to clean up and all that jazz

That's $20/pp. Is that right? With food, set up, break down, liquor, staff?

Re: GREAT NEWS
sounds great, but I bet when you add in food, liquor, cake, decorations, servers, bartenders, bus people, etc. its gonna be just as much as a wedding in a hall. My friend did it and it was such a mess because it rained and even though she had a tent and a dance floor installed, people coming and going go mud all over the place.

Re: GREAT NEWS
Our family our big cooks. If you knew us you would understand. A lot of food being made from Emmanuels family. And we are getting more food from Cosco. Then about the cleanup my MOH and Emmanuels mom are handleing that. Then as for Pick up everthing they are picking it up next day. Linens are included. Cake is being bought by MOH. Actually everything is coming out much cheaper. It would be like a buffet so people would get there own food like if you were having a bar-b-Q. Everyone will dress casual. Oh by the way emmanuels brother used to be a bus boy so we are going to have a few people he know do that. Believe its not going to be a big thing. Because of the fact i don't want to deal with hiring people when i could do in a hall. But this way will be cool.

Re: GREAT NEWS
That's GREAT! You get all of the elegance of a catering hall without the price, and you get to have the backyard bash that matches your personalities. GREAT
You should apply to be on the party planner with david tutera, this si exactly the kind of thing they love to put on the show!

Re: GREAT NEWS
I was going to do that if our home was finished in PA by then. HOwever the price is really cheap but you have to consider the extras like: bathrooms, valet parking, cookware etc. It winds up sometimes to be about the same cost if you are going to go elaborate, but if you are doing something low key then u can stay at about 5k for everything.

Re: GREAT NEWS
that is the price i will be going.
I have decided to have my wedding ceromony at the church i attend then go to the backyard wedding bash. Parking is taken cared of because there is a shopping center cross the street. LOL
as for the price, my wedding will come out to be 5000
including everything backyard necessities, dj, flowers, favors, and church.
the food and cake is taken cared for by Emmanuels mom.
I want the party now
