My father was in the first graduating class. My mom went their. My sister graduated from their in 82, my brother 83, and my other brother in 87. I went to Kennedy to be different.

Floral Park is an excellent school district. My mom, aunt, uncle and half the rest of their family went there. I used to work in the elementary schools like 4 years ago. Very good parental support!! Oh and my stepson went there too, I was actually his teacher before I even met my DH!!

Floral Park is part of Sewanhaka District??
My roommate works for Carey, I did my social work internship at Elmont Memorial.
Thats awesome that you are having so many interviews.
I was just saying recently that I had more interviews when I had no paid school experience, than now that I have a year. Strange???

My interviews have just recently started picking up - I've been told it's because of districts budgets and all that mess that districts are interviewing slower - have you had any?

I interviewed at Oceanside HS a few weeks ago, but the position was more administrative than social work. I dont have an administrative degree, nor the experience of being a disciplinarian. Suffice to say, I was not called back. But I am moving to Oceanside after the wedding and I dont know how I feel about living where I work.
How could I go to the grocery in my pjs, you know you are going to run in to students.

Seriously - years ago I was a perm sub at an elem school in Baldwin. Of course, the one time I go to Taco Bell in Oceanside - ALL hung over - I see a student!!!
