Does anyone know how much student malpractice/liability insurance costs?

it's not covered in your tuition fees or by the school??? (is the school making it mandatory?)

I don't go to the school yet... i am still lookign around... but this school says it is the students responsibility to have the insurance.

oh ok thats frustrating. 
the program i'm looking into, its covered in the tuition and fees (so basically provided by the school).
some of them also have their own policy but you have to buy into it. Maybe they have recommendations for companys that their present students use??

what kind of school are you looking into? i work in a nursing school and we insure our BS students but not the MS students. the reason we don't insure the MS students is b/c they are RN's and working therefore they have their own insurance.

I don't think its that much. I remember having to pay it for my undergrad eventhough I was covered under my mom's insurance at the time. I think it was like $130 (a semester) or something like that.

I think mine was 25$ for each year... Good for you Julz what school are you looking into? I'm glad you won't be sorry it's so worth it. FM me if you need anything you know that'swhat I do.. If you want to come observe in my Cardiology office Im sure we can set something up..

See if you can join the national professional association - they usually have a student rate and you can get malpractice through them.
