Ebay ques- someone inquired about my wedding dress and
want to know how much shipping would cost from Sydney Australia!!! How would I figure that out? And also, I dont know how much my dress weighed? how do you figure that??

You will have to put it in the box and get it ready for shipping with tape and everything...And then weigh it on a scale. Measure the box, and goto the website that you are using for shipping the item...whether it be usps or ups, or fedex. When you get to the site you can use their website to figure out how much shipping to Australia would cost. I dont ship world wide. It gets to be too much of a nightmare, with all the forms you need to fill out. That is why I only put USA only on all of my auctions

even with the ups rates online...they arent accurate but it will be close ( +/- 15.00)
you can always ship USPS (airmail) but you cant track it and can take up to two weeks or so to get there. This is what i did when i sent somthing to canada... it really was a hassle and was my last sale on ebay to another country

I have a small scale that I use and just stick to the usps.com website and get a pretty accurate cost to ship that way. If you know about how much something ways, it's easy to get the shipping fee off their website.

I also have a small scale and I already shipped twice internationally and never had any problem.

shipping is probably going to be expensive. the guy making my bridesmaid dresses said that to ship fabric from india to here would cost me 75 dollars.

See if Pearls Place or Rk can give you a shipping quote if they carry your dress so you will @ least be able to get an approx. number.

I did say USA only but she loves the dress and wanted to know if id ship to australia. imnot in the mood for hassles and it sounds like shipping overseas will be.. Thank you!!
