FOCCUS (Pre-Cana) Updated!!
Just wondering if anyone has taken the FOCCUS portion of Pre-Cana yet??? FH & I are doing it on Sunday & I am just wondering what some of the questions will be like?? FH & I talk about every topic there is out there but I am still a little nervous!!!

Most of the questions are about sex and religion. alot alot alot of sex questions. We where so surprised!!!

It was kind of interesting, Next weekend we have to meet with a couple and go over our results.....I'm A little nervous.

we took the foccus on LI months ago but live in CT and never got results... YIKES...now I dont know if it is too late...am i in trouble?>>

I know we take the test on Sunday & then we are suppose to go over the results the following Sunday (17h) but we have a wedding so we have to re-schedule...Then we start Pre-Cana on the 24th...It should be fun!

It is such a touchy subject...I am going to answer 100% myself...no one is going to tell me whether or not we should be married!!

My friend is a RC Priest and he says that the only time the church denies some one to be married is if there are really big issues that the FH and FW have not discussed, like how the children will be raised if the 2 have different religions, any mental or sexual illness that the other does not know about etc. Another reason they ask all these questions is they are trying to rule out any annulmnets being granted in the future.

I have asked my friend this too and he is a young priest and says he kind of expects the answer to be they have had s@x... In the PNI he doesn't come out and and ask if they are "Active" with one another what he does ask is" Do either of you have any sexual disfunctions that the other is Not aware of"
Just relax, tell the truth and then run out the door! no, just kidding. Just think that if you lie then you have to go to confession and then tell the priest you lied to another priest about the "Situation".....

We finished both...we wanted to get them done with...
FOCCUS is a test...lol....is actualyl realy long and very funny.....
Pre Cana was soo much better....you actualyl sat with diff couples and chatted! We loved that!!!

Don't worry too much abotut it. I haven't done it, but the whole focus of the churhc is to FOSTER marriages. it's not a process of elimination. You can't pass or fail, it's t HELP you have a better marriage. No worries!

so we went yesterday & took the test...It was actually fun....Some of the questions were hysterical...It was mostly questions on religion, family, sex, finances, starting a family, past relationships & emotions...We get the results next weekend
