Hi everyone, i know this isnt wedding related, but can you all send some prayers my way. My mom found out a few days before Xmas that she had a tumor in her lungs and had some Xrays done, and they said the tumor was only 8mm so they wanted to wait 3 months and take another xray and see if it changed. Well she had another Xray done last week with contrast and she got the report back yesterday, The doctor said the tumor is 8mm it didnt change, but they found a mass in her esophagus thats 2cm by 3cm and they are pretty sure its cancer. They also arent sure if its a new mass or if they missed it on the first x-ray because they didnt use contrast on the first. We are going to see a gastroenterologist on friday, he has scheduled an MRI, also an endoscopy and a biopsy. The doctor explained to her that he is 99% sure its cancer considering the looks of the mass, We saw another doctor today who also gave us the same opinion. They both said they would definately be doing chemo ASAP when they get the biopsy results back. My mom so far has had ovarian, cervical, uteran and breast cancer and beat them all. My grandmother(moms mother) had breast cancer also and beat it, my grandfather (moms dad) died of lung cancer when i was a baby. My familys history with this illness is horrible. Im really scared about this one, i know my moms strong but, im really worried. I dont want to se her suffer with this, I cant lose my mother, shes my Best friend. I just lost my brother in June. I cant do this again. Please send lots of prayers, i hope God's listening and can have some mercy on my family and get her through this.

I will keep all of you in my prayers during this difficult time. Just remember that your mom is a fighter! Pray and keep her spirits up and she will get through this one too! This is coming from someone who has gone through what you are and through God's love and grace, my mom is getting better, slowly, every day! I pray your mom will too!

G-D bless your mother, you and your family. I've said his before and I'll say it again. Prayers do work. When my father got ill, I got prayers from every faith and they provided my family with tremendous comfort. May her treatment and recovery be as comfortable and as painless as possible.

Aida - I'm so sorry you and your family are going through this trial. I also have a history of cancer on my mother's side of the family and she (my mom) has been battling cancer in the bladder for years now.
Stay strong for your mom - keep in touch. My prayers are with you.
