starting up a small business.....

Location: Rock Hill Country Club	starting up a small business..... not sure if anyone can 'point me in the right direction' but I'll give it a shot DH and friend are planning on starting their own business in the utilities field. (DH works for a utilities company now). I told him I would TRY and do some research My main question is where or how do you go about looking into small business loans and/or grants? We haven't looked into this yet... TIA!!
