BK Sweeney's Uptown Grill on Franklin Ave in Garden City has a great Sunday brunch. It's about $15 a person and includes a "bread" basket (pastries), breakfast (like eggs benedict, steak, french toast, etc), and unlimited mimosas, screwdrivers or bloody marys. Mmm, I can't wait til Sunday now

hotel wise there is a hampton inn on old country rd right by merchants concorde which is like a 5 minute drive to the park & there is a red roof inn right off the meadowbrook by the super target in merchants concorde. Brunch wise I am not sure but there are alot of restaurants over there and I know that Cheesecake opens early and has brunch like items on their menu. Bacci might also have brunch but I am not sure. GOod luck

I'm not sure about hotels other than the Marriott (which I wouldn't consider reasonable although my OOT guests stayed there) but for restaurants, try Runyon's on Hempstead Tpke. I'm not positive that they have brunch but their food is good!

I second the Red Roof. It's nothing fancy, but the staff is nice, it is VERY clean there, and the rates are reasonable.
Not sure about brunch...

LOVE RUNYONS!!! (Used to be my Friday liquid lunch location fro MANY years  ) but I don't think they do a brunch.

don't think BK Sweeney's uptown has a party room since they renovated, they got rid of it. East meadow I went to a brunch shower at a big place called HR Singletons. Very reasonable too.
