Hi Ladies!
Just wondering if anyone got married at Rock Hill Country Club in Manorville, LI, or went to a wedding there. Wanted to hear some input about the place and see any pics if you have them!
I am having my reception there on August 28, 2005!!!

I went to a wedding there last September - it was really nice! Cocktail hour was a little cramped, but otherwise it was a lot of fun - and the food was great.
I think you'll have a beautiful wedding

Wow, never thought about the cocktail hour being cramped ... it's on the outside deck, which now that I think about it, IS kinda small, and we are having about 130 people. I am also having my DJ play live music for that hour. AHH! something MORE to worry about! Hope it doesn't (dare I say it) RAIN!

It wasn't the area to eat that was cramped, just the area where the food was.
It seemed that all the most popular stuff was stationed at one end, while the stuff that wasn't eaten as much was at the other, which was a little lopsided...
Maybe you could talk to them about how you would want the coktail hour food set up?
As I said, the food was great, service was good, and it was lots of fun - and the view was wonderful!
I think you'll have a great wedding!

There was an 04 bride that got married there. I think her name is brideinapril. try to do a search or FM her.
