Taking a looong break from planning - is that bad?
So, after going to a trunk show next week (and hopefully purchasing my dress), I think I'll be taking a hiatus from planning until early August. I feel kind of sad about it, but I'll have law school finals at the end of April and beginning of May, graduation, then a bar exam review course and then the bar exam... and I won't have any time to see vendors. FH is excited about not doing any wedding stuff for a couple of months, but I'm sad.

my fh would love to take a break but i am determined to find photo/video before a break
i say august is a fine time, dont be sad it is just as fun in a few months especially when you dont have all that other very important stuff to worry about

Awwwww....Don't be sad! Taking a break is actually good to do IMO. Too much planning at once is too stressful. Plus you have enough stress with school and studying for the bar. Just chat on the boards and it won't feel like you are taking a break.

When you get sad just flip through some magazines so you won't feel out of touch. Sometimes we ALL need a break!??! Try and enjoy it!

ahhh peggy, you and I are in the EXACT same position. I too am graduating from law school in may, studying for the bar this summer, and taking the exam in july. So after mid-may, no wedding planning for me until August. I'm also banning myself from LIW.
