I have been finding that they are not undergarmet friendly. most shirts are see through, or halter or the cami style.

In the UK - well, it's too expensive to buy things here anyway - but there's Warehouse, H&M or Monsoon. and I HEART Oasis  which has a lot of 40's style/vintage-like stuff.
