High Chairs...Peg Perego vs Fisher price

I was gonna register for the Peg Perego prima pappa but after reading the baby bargains book I'm thinking of going for the fisher price healthy care delux. That was their top pick (and much cheaper).

Any opinions on either one would be greatly appreciated.

TIA.

Re: High Chairs...Peg Perego vs Fisher price

I have the Peg Perego and love it. No complaints here. I even have the fabric one, and I wipe it down with a sponge if he gets it messy, or its easy to take off and clean in the washing machine. It has the two trays, so that's a plus. It has adjustable heights and reclines so he can nap in it at times!

If I had to complain about something, it would be the fact that the tray, when off, does not store on the highchair itself (some high chairs it clips to the legs in the back). We usually have to store it on the counter when its not on the chair.

I have the prima papa and LOVE it but I bought a cheaper one for my moms house and it was a PIECE OF JUNK, I think it was an evenflo. We came up with a rule: if you have to put it together, its a piece of junk! To replace this one at my moms we bought the baby trend one...its 1/2 the price of the prima and its JUST AS NICE! It folds up nice and even has a spot on the back of it to hold the tray!

and its only 89.99 at BRU:

If I still had the box for my prima papa Id bring it back and get the baby trend for 1/2 the price!!

I have the Fisher price deluxe and love it. Rebecca loves the link a doo toys and I love how easy it is to clean. Mine does have wheels. I know one of the lower models does not.

Re: High Chairs...Peg Perego vs Fisher price

I registered for a received the Baby Trend at my shower (different fabric though). I considered the Prima Pappa but many people said it was hard to clean as the pad has a lot of nooks and crannies. I considered the FP Healthy Care Deluxe, but I didn't like the removable tray because it didn't cover the entire tray on the high chair, and food looked like it would still get caught underneath.

I haven't tried the Baby Trend yet since I'm not due for six weeks but I've heard good things about it, and except for the padding looks just like the Prima Pappa.

I have the baby trend too, and I have no problems at all (thanks girls, i didn't even know the tray stored on the back!) I just bought a used prima pappa for my mom's house for $60...I just should have bought another new baby trend!
