Re: BRIDAL SHOE HELP!!
I haven't heard of sneakers but I'm wearing the lace up ballet slippers. As someone reminded me on here though, get ones that have some type of sole so that your ankles aren't killing you all night....

Re: BRIDAL SHOE HELP!!
try Ebay and do a search for bridal sneakers. I would personally do flip fops but that's just me.

Re: BRIDAL SHOE HELP!!
I got my slippers at Casa Di Mario in Patchogue. They had lace sneakers that were very cute... I didn't want to wear heels because I wouldn't be comfy and I have a bad ankle, so I got these:

Re: BRIDAL SHOE HELP!!
why not a ballet flat? no added height (or very little) and a little more elegant.

I agree with the ballet shoe idea - I love the way they look.

Re: BRIDAL SHOE HELP!!
I too am concerned about my fh's height being so close to mine but im looking for little kitten heels so that i feel feminine and elegant ( if i wear slippers of sneakers, i would just feel weird but thats just me, im not knocking it for anyone else )
I think its possible to still wear a dressyshoe but with a tiny heel.
Plus, check out bridesave.com to search for shoes based on heel height or style

Re: BRIDAL SHOE HELP!!
You think they won't but people DO see your feet. They may also sneak out in photos - I thought no one would see them either and I did see my shoes in several photos. I would say to just get a comfortable pair of flats and if you want to change into sneakers for the reception, do that.
I didn't wear bridal shoes - I got a pair of silver leather Lizflex shoes with a very small heel and they were so comfortable, I didn't change into the slippers I got for later.
