Question about BM Dresses and The correct size to order...
I was just doing some searching through the boards about LYnbrook bridal...
One complain was that a size 20 was ordered when a size 12 was needed (the girl lost 25 lbs or something?)
But my question is...Can you insist on have them NOT order that big of a size for you? Alternations do cap at $50.00...so you're not paying for "exentensive dress surgery"..; Is there a way to work around this ?

Re: Question about BM Dresses and The correct size to order...
When I was a bridesmaid (three times), I always ordered the dress only TWO sizes bigger than I was. To alter a dress fom a 20 to fit a size 12, IMO, would not look good. I am not a seamstress or anything, but it sounds like it could very easily be out of proportion. That sounds like too much fabric to take in. JMO.

Re: Question about BM Dresses and The correct size to order...
You can but they make you sign off on it--and if it comes in too small then it is your fault & you would have to lose weight or order another dress. I ordered my BM dresses from them and they ordered around the right size of the girls---all my girls ordered a dress that was around their normal size or one size higher because they run small. I haven't had a problem with them yet.
