Did anyone change their date at the hall?
Did you have any problems? We are having $$ problems so we want to switch froma saturday to a sunday, but we don't want to have to pay the difference...

i changed my date. I pushed the wedding up from sept. 10 to august 20. I still kept a saturday night so I didnt save anymore or lose any money. however i did remember that they told me if i were to push the wedding back they would be a fee so just ask them, anytime you do something that they think will cost them they want to charge you.

I think a Sunday night should be cheaper than a Saturday night. IMO If anything they would owe you

I had to change my date due to a death in my family. Feb 2005 to Nov 2005 kept the same room, Sunday night and they charged me more $$ for change of season. Bastards

I was so set on a May wedding and then when we went in and talked price I moved it to the last weekend in April and saved over $45 per person. I am so happy with the place and price.

The thing is, because I already booked and signed a contract, i'm afraid they're gonna make me pay the difference or something. I really hope not, that would defeat the purpose of me changing the date.

It can't hurt to go and see what your options are. You may be pleasantly surprised at how accomondating they may be.

I just called them, the date is still open, thank god. The lady we booked with was busy, but she's going to call me back. We have a lot of add-on options...so I'm hoping maybe they'll give us a good price, if we keep those options.
