Let's book together...
It's not a bad idea for some of us to get together and book our vendors together. A lot of vendors will give you a great deal if they know they are getting business from a few brides. For instance, limos, if anyone is interested in booking limos, maybe we should all try to meet with the same company and see what they can do for us! Let me know what you think...

You know this is an excellent idea. My sister and I booked the reception hall together for two seperate events and they really gave us some great extra's.
I haven't booked my limo yet and would entertain the idea of booking that with other brides or at least inquiring. Let me know how we could do this.

This is such a great idea. FM me, because I am getting married at the Swan Club on 9/23 and maybe we could do our limos together and get a great deal. I haven't started looking yet!

Ok, all girls interested in booking with Royalty, let me know your wedding dates and what you're looking for. I'll give them a call and get an idea on how much they'd be willing to discount us. I've gotten a few FMs so I think we have a good group!

I was just looking at those stamps on your avatar on the USPS website. I want to use those for my STD. Are they in the post office yet.
I jsut FM'd everyone to see when everyone would be available to go to Royalty. I can tell you that it is better to negotiate in person so they can see the volume of business. Otherwise, I can't see them giving us a committed quote via phone. IMO

awww i wish i could join yall in booking limos, but i live out of town :(
i agree with Anghuy1 about getting quotes over the phone. in my florist search, i was quoted all kinds of crazy prices over the phone, but found that when you meet face to face, a vendor is more willing to negotiate price with you.

Yes, those stamps came out on February 19th (odd that they came out after Valentine's Day). Anyway, I pre-ordered them online for my STDs and got them a few weeks ago. I think they're great - especially for a fall wedding but obviously work well for all weddings.
As far as limos, yes, I definetely think more manpower in person is a good idea. But I'll call and just let them know our plan and then we can decide when we can all get together.

I used them for my invitations - they are at the Hicksville PO & the one at Roosevelt Field

11/6/05, all I need is 1 white limo - basic Lincoln is fine. Pickup from Huntington Hilton for 2 people going to Swan Club, and then pick up after wedding and drop off at hotel.

I just sent out my STD's with these stamps on them this morning. I bought them last week
