XP from 05: Is a bottle of wine (Pugliese) enough of a favor?
I'm trying to cut costs and wanted to do a bottle of wine per couple with a heart bottle stopper in a little organza puch...but am now thinking of just doing the bottle (it would be Pugliese)...can you please share if you think a bottle is enough or if I should spend the extra money for the bottle and the stopper?
Also, is Pugliese a "good" favor or will my guests think it's cheap? I know nothing about LI wine (or wine in general) but I do love to drink and so does fi so liquor has special meaning to us snd I love that they hand paint the names and date on the bottle. Would you like that as a favor or would you toss it?
Sorry for all the questions...you ladies are life savers!
Thanks much!

The bottle is more than sufficient. I would love to get wine as a favor.

Of course that is enough!
And if someone says different, you can hit them on the head with it

I totally agree! We are also giving a bottle of wine per couple, though I think we are giving Duckwalk. The handwritten name and date sounds lovely though!

HUGE RELIEF OVER HERE! Thank so much! I'm ordering the blush...red gives me a headache and not everyone likes white, so I thought it was a god compromise. If anyone is interested, it normally takes about a month to personalize the bottles.

We had wine favors (fitting since we got married at a winery), but we did 2 half bottles of Wolffer chardonnay and merlot for each couple.

Thanks ladies...you're the bestest!
We went to Wrap With Us today to see the wine bottle stoppers and the charm and fi vetoed both...so the bottle itself will do. One less thing to worry about. Thanks for your input!
