I went last night - I wanted my makeup done for my eng. pictures so I went to a trial last night.
Overall, I loved the makeup but I'm having "shimmer" issues. I think there is too much shimmer. You can see in the last few pics, I removed some of the shimmer and was feeling better about it.
I never wear makeup, so it's a little getting used to...what do you think? Should I go more au natural for the eng. pics? Definitely need to reduce the shimmer and maybe reduce the pinkish cheeks.

i like the first ones. the second pics where you took some off kind of look that you went parting all night and its almost gone. you're suppose to look differnet. not in your norm. yes lower a little on the cheeks but everything else was pretty. it look really nice.

love them!!!! The shimmer is a little bit much but I think you need a little shimmer to make you feel different!!! The last picture you look to subtle & plain...JMHO

Very pretty - but I have to say I agree that there is a little too much shimmer. You have to be careful with that, because it may look like you are oily.
But I LOVE the eyes!

I think it looks really beautiful, not too heavy, very natural, except for the shimmer. You're right, tone that down and it will look even better.

The gal is someone who did my cousin's makeup for her wedding. Her name is Michelle and her business is Mia's Essential Makeup. If anyone is interested, FM me. I don't have her number here, but I'll give it to you later.
She does facials, eyebrow waxing, etc. She is super nice and she did a great job. She gave me samples and cleansed my skin and gave me tips (like making my eyebrows bigger). She isn't pushy or anything and actually had me pick colors out that "grab" me --- so that she could do what I want.
Thanks for the comments girls. For the engagement picture, I just feel like I want to be a bit more natural. My two dislikes as of now are the shimmer - too much and a bit less cheeks (I had her add more on).
I realllllly just want to look like a look everyday, but just prettier.
So overall, I'm not hideous? Hahahha

You do look lovely, but for everyday, I think the last look is fine- maybe just with a shirt that pops...but I like the makeup.
The more shimmery look would be great for the party itself (minus a little off the cheeks)
I am so jealous of your eyes- mine are so small, they disappear when I smile!!!

thanks girls...i'm actually having a lot of doubts about whether i should even do it for the eng. picture.
i think it's too much for the eng. picture to be honest....esp. the shimmer.
at this point, i'd be removing a lot of blush and all the shimmer, less on the eyes, keep the lipstick, keep the eyelashes... i mean, at that point, maybe i should just do it myself.
for the wedding, tho, I am into a little more oomph.
i actually think i look really old in a couple of the shots. i am really young looking in person... so i don't know...
kissy - if you read this, can you FM me what you really think. you've seen me enough.

You have beautiful eyes, eyebrows, and (yeah, this is weird) eye/brow bones. You should have your photographer focus on your eyes and the look in your eyes when you look at your husband in your pics.
