bridal party table???
are you doing a table for the bridal party or will they be seating with whom ever they come with?

That's was what I was thinking also because I know they would get up to go and sit with their guest anyway so why not seat them with them

Even if you have a table for the BP, it would be really rude for you to expect them not to sit with their guest.

My bridal party is going to be sitting with who they came with and at separate tables...my family who are in the BP will sit together....FI's friends in it will sit together.

My bridal party (and dates) are sitting with FH and I. I hate the idea of sitting at a table with just the two of us. This only works because we have such a small bridal party.

the bridal party will defininetly sit with their So or dates- how could you expect them not to. I will have them sitting with their guest at bridal party tables next to where FH and I will be sitting.

ETS- I know that I would be really offended if DH was in someone's BP and he was seated at a different table than me. We would probably wind up hanging out at the bar togther most of the night and would only sit at our table to eat and then get back up.

I think only 3 people in my bridal party are bringing dates (my cousin, my sister, and my FH BM). Almost all our friends know each other (we've been together for almost 9 years) and we can sit the SO with some of our friends. FH single friends are not trying to bring dates because they want to link up with my GF. We're the first one of our friends to get married and everyone is pretty young.
We did think about sitting them with friends, but we wanted to recognize the BP and have them stand out. Plus, it will be a nice photo opportunity. All my BM know each other so it's not like they will just be sitting there eating with no one to talk to.
We may just end up doing the MOH and BM sitting with us, but they are actually the ones who will have dates.
The way I see it, people will just be sitting together to eat and I think everyone will be on the dancefloor.
Our decision is not finalized yet, so I do appreciate everyone feedback on this. Thanks Lenie for posting this thread!
BTW, how long does the eating portion of dinner actually last? I have only been to one wedding and I can't remember.

I'm hoping my BM will be up dancing. They already know that they are supposed to keep the party moving!

Honestly, I think sitting the BP up front away from their guests is rude. Seating them with their dates is the way to go.
