Can anyone reccomend a Irish Restaurant/Pub in Queens that has good Corned Beef and Cabbage? FI and I decided to be festive this year and go out on St. Patty's day but I don't know where to go. I was thinking Cranberries in Maspeth, but as I passed there today, they looked closed.

SideTracks or SideCar....It might be on Steinway or Astoria BLvd in Woodside or Jackson Heights....

SideTracks is on Queens Blvd. (between 45th and 46th Street on the East side of Queens Blvd), Really nice place, great food. A more "sorta fancy" place (as opposed to traditional pub/bar)
Also, somewhat across the street... also on Queens Blvd is PJ Horgans... thats more of a pub. Very casual, really cute.. and the best Irish Soda Bread ever! (between 42nd and 43rd on the west side of Queens Blvd)
Either way, great food!!!

Try Kate Cassidy's on Woodhaven Blvd. or O'Neills in Maspeth. O'Neills has good food! You can also try the Grandstand on Grand Avenue or Matchmakers also on Grand. Matchmakers always has live music, too!

I completely forgot that Kate Cassidy's closed! Definitely try O'Neills or Matchmaker's. I have eaten at both and they are pretty good. Let me know where you go!

I went to Cronin & Phelan's in Astoria. Yummy! We had to wait 30 minutes but the food was awesome.
