Re: fall theme

I bumped one of the fall threads that I found helpful. If you need some more ideas or help, let me know.

I'll show you the dresses I chose, I love the color!

It's the one on the right exactly!

Re: fall theme

We did a fall theme and i did all the flowers in fall colors-nothing white-all ivory and the girls dresses were chocolate brown and bronze. we did sparkling apple cider for the toast and for the favors we did big bottles of sparking apple cider in sheer burgandy colored bags and they had a tag that said "WE FELL IN LOVE" with a leaf design and our names and the date. Also, we did the placecards with that same saying....
we did a chocolate cake with leaves and fresh flowers from our ceremony!

I'll try to think of more !!

Re: fall theme

We are gonna toss leaves instead of rose petals, and maybe leaf garland around the handrails of the church...

There are so many great fall colors for flowers too, the confetti roses are my favorite, they are the yellow ones with the burgundy edge.

Pumpkin centerpieces, we are doing the mini pumpkins for placecards and a big pumpkin arrangement for the middle of the placecard table.

I saw a leaf-print aisle runner somewhere too, if you wanna go crazy......

Re: fall theme

I'm sure your florist could provide the branches, or maybe you can get fake ones at Michaels or AC Moore

Re: fall theme

OOOO I did I did!

I was married at the Thatched Cottage....
You can check our pictures in the album section.

I just added some more.

We used Lazaro dresses, in Cognac and Rust (same as someone else on here I think!)

Check out our photos! You might get a few ideas!

We gave maple leaf shapped glass bottles of maple syrup as favors, and the place cards had cutouts of leavesin all different autumn colors on them. All the flowers were autumnal and the invitations were very woodsy with oak leaf motiif.

FM me for specifics if you like!

Re: fall theme

Ohh I love this thread. I was thinking about wine favors in chocolate colored sheer bags - or home made jam.

I'm thinking of using chocolate colored bride maid colors with bright flowers -

I would have preferred to use an olive colored dress, but no one makes olive dresses

Our save the dates are going to be very fall looking as well

We're also doing a fall theme. Our florist is providing us with leaves...(very inexpensive). I previously purchased silk leaves for our "leafgirl", but love the idea and look of the real thing.

Be careful with real leaves. We tried that first and you have to be careful of dirt and they tend to crumble. Also they did not fly as well as the fake leaves. We did many "throw" tests before

We also did a fall theme. Here are some pics I already have scanned in. We had leaves and pumpkins in as much as we could. Our invitations had leaves on them, we had leaves and pumpkin ribbon on our pew bows, pressed leaved on out unity candle, leaves on our cake.....

Here's a link to my review with a link to pics too.. review
