Does it sometimes take 6 months to get your cycle back to normal after the pill?
I'm thinking this may be the case with me...and maybe that is what is taking so long with me.
My cycle on the pill was always 28 days to the hour I could predict it. Since coming off in Sept, it was 28 days then 29. In Feb and now in March it has been 32 days. Which is what it was before I went on the pill. So maybe I will have better luck now!

Everyone is different and while 6 months seems a little long I'm sure its possible. Can you call your dr. and ask?

I would have to say no. I got off BC the middle of september and got PG the end of November. My cycle went back on track the following month. I had been on BC for 7 years before i went off. I don't know if that helps but i would keep track of your cycle and let your doctor know what is going on. Best of luck..

My cycle was regular immediate but everyone is different. I think they say 3 months is an average.

it's possible...I went off the pill in April of '04 and after that, my cycle was NEVER the same # of days

My cycle was highly irregular after I went off the pill in September, BUT, even with the irregularity, I conceived in November, and then again in December (after miscarrying), so I don't know if it necessarily affects fertility...

DEFINATELY. It took me 7 months to get pg. with my dd and 6 months with my ds and my AF was NEVER back to normal during those months. It was very heavy and LONG. That is why I am NEVER going off the pill again-lol!

I went off the pill in November and since then I've been getting two periods a month.  It bites!

That's DEFINITELY a possibility. With my first pregnancy, I remember having such a hissy fit because DH had a business trip for 5 days, during the time I thought I was ovulating. Well, somehow, I STILL got pregnant, so I must have been TOTALLY off on my ovulation! I'm sure coming off the pill and having whacky cycles screwed up my ovulation timing!
