I hate my guests

I got engaged April 2nd. We decided on a date April 17th. I notified people of that date a couple of days before. Here is the list of reason why people are saying they can't/might not be able to come. Ahem

Confermation (understandable, but it wipes out a chunk of family)
Sorority party (What the FREAK?)
Marien weekend (ok, I understand but it *****)
Don't have a ride (what do you mean you dont have a ride. you have known about this wedding for a year, there are plenty of people you know that are going to this wedding that drive, what do you mean you dont have a ride?)

What is next, I stubbed my toe and I cant get up in 6 weeks?

sorry that was misspelled and is marine weeked. My friend is in the reserves or something like that. He goes to school and has to do marine stuff 1 weekend a month or something. He has also been taken out of school to go to war and train for war twice. Anyway, they will not let him out of it for a friends wedding.
I am not sure what they do at these things, but it is all weekend until 2pm Sunday

I wish some of my guests would back out! New York is such a cool location to my OTT guests that many I thought wouldn't be there are coming! Just think less guests to greet and less money to spend...those who are really important will be there for you and those who can't will be in spirit.

Yeah we thought we had way too many people, but now people are not responding or those things that came up, yadda yadda. Now I am actually afraid that we won't have 100 like we were supposed to!

Anyway, i did find out that someone else is coming, that I thought wouldn't make it. That is good.

well at least 11 people are going to the confermation. My dad got worried because he did not think we would make 100 with them missing. What he did not know what that I invited alot more people than he thought I invited, so I thought I would be fine. Until I started getting the other excuses.

Look, you set a date because that's what your and FH likes. Close relatives and friends, no matter what your date is, they will find their way to come and celebrate your day. I got in to this situation when some family members found out that our wedding date is on a Sunday, they automatically think why not a Saturday. Well in my head, it's like you guys are paying for our wedding to begin with. Plus our date signifies something to me and my FH.
