Are you afraid of not being "dressed" at your shower??
I really have no clue when my shower is, and I'm hoping I dont show up in a sweat suit or jeans! LOL... anyone else think about this??

Yes! i think about this all the time --i think i am going to go out and buy an outfit that i would want to wear and i am going to tell my fh to make sure someone brings it in case i am not wearing it!

We did that with my sister a few years back. I brought the designated outfit with me to the restaurant since I knew she was in sweats that day. The only problem is that my silly BIL let her go back to the house to "change" before he "brought her out to dinner". She put 2 and 2 together when she saw the outfit missing and dolled herself up in preparation. So much for a surprise.

I already bought a dress and made my sister promise on all that's holy to bring it to my shower.

My friend's shower was immediately after her shift as a lifeguard at Jones Beach... this was 11 years ago. Yes, she's over it but she often says to her mom and sisters... what were you guys thinking? Yes, every picture she is wearing her lifeguard issued "gear", has no makeup on etc.
I think I'll give a designated outfit to FH to make sure he brings it along... good idea!

I threw my sister's bridal shower for her. I had it in the gym of the church she was getting married in. She was in the middle of painting her new apartment when she was told by her (then) FH that they had to go to the church to meet with the organist about the music. She showed up with paint splattered jeans, T-Shirt and hair (also complete with paint splatters) in a ponytail and no makeup on!! It was great!!!

Good idea about having someone bring an outfit for you to wear... I insisted on being surprised for my shower and I usually wear jeans, sneakers and whatever top on the weekend.... so May have to go out and buy something
